Sara is a designer, researcher and educator with a background in textile, product, service and participatory design.
Trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (University of Dundee) Sara graduated in 2010 with First Class Honours in Textile Design, and in 2012 with a Masters with Distinction in Design for her work on KISTproject. She is currently in the final stages of the doctoral research study, 'Textile Connections' where e-textiles have been created and explored as catalysts for social connectedness with older adults who have experience of loneliness.
Since 2010 she has worked in industry and consultancy roles to create, collaborate and deliver products and services with a focus on user-experience and user-testing.
Since 2015 I have designed and delivered practice and research-led teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and elective modules at DJCAD.
